Migraine Tracker, Goal Setting, Mandalas & Affirmations…
OK team – so while I’ve been blogging away, I’ve also been converting my self-help spreadsheets into files for you to use. I know there’s so many similar options available on the internet, and I’m sure all of them work just fine, (and they’re probably way prettier and more sophisticated), but mine have been tried and tested by me, and they seem to do the trick – so YAY!
PDF documents: Each worksheet below was created on PowerPoint and saved as a PDF to keep the file small. The first pages of each file usually show you what a filled-out version of the template might look like, with suggestions on how to use the worksheets. The rest of the document can be printed in color or black & white (I aimed for designs with lots of white space so it’s cheaper to print and easier to fill in). [If you have ideas for other templates you need, let me know on the ‘contact’ page, Linda x]
How to download: To get the PDF, you’ll need to type in an email address. It’s a one-off link, so you’ll have to do it for each file you download. Your email address won’t be added to any spammy-database (that I know of), and you’re not subscribing to a newsletter. If you do want to join The Mindful Migraine community, look out for the separate ‘subscribe’ or ‘join us’ options; you’re always welcome here!
Printing: The paper size selected was Australian A4 – so check the formatting before you print – you may have to ‘adjust to fit’ for the best outcome. And don’t forget you don’t need to print the cover pages, just the worksheets.
Applause: I’ve popped in little “applause” buttons under each download button which sometimes show up (ugh!). If you see one, remember to give yourself a round of applause when you download a file; you deserve it for growing towards a healthier, happier you. It also signals to others they should have a go too. Lastly, it encourages me to keep going – because the files are free, I’m not sure if the behind-the-scenes software keeps track of downloads, so your clapping helps me know that downloads are happening, and the files might be helping people.
Go on – help yourself!
Migraine Tracker
This worksheet includes a page for each week, and four separate pages with different affirmations to keep you motivated for the month. Perfect to track your pain / progress and show your health care providers.
Self-Help Goals: Beginners
Suitable for those of you who have just started your holistic healing self-help journey, and/or those of you who are basically bed-bound. This goal setter/tracker lasts a month and will keep you go-go-going.
Self-Help Goals: Intermediate
Once you’re getting up and about, this goal setter/tracker adds a couple more events to your itinerary to help you heal your mind, body and soul. Remember; you don’t have to be sick to benefit from mindfulness.
Self-Help Goals: Advanced
Now that you’re feeling a whole lot better, it’s time to add more exercise to your routine. Like the templates before, it’s filled with affirmations to keep you moving, and there’s still room to add your own ideas.
Mindful Mandalas
Maybe it’s the big kid in me, but one of my favorite mindful activities is coloring-in. So, I converted the mandala logo, and the ones on my Spotfiy playlists and turned them into templates for you to play with.
Affirmation cards
The journey for self-healing can be long , so I’ve made some mini affirmation cards to keep you motivated. They include phrases from the worksheets to stay coordinated (and cats to keep you company).
