A couple of people have asked me if I have any plans to write a mindfulness course to purchase… the answer is no… I don’t have the time, energy or skills to create the additional content to a level of quality that you all deserve, AND I want everything I have on this site to be free to use.
Besides, there is already a huge amount of suitable material out there for you to use… I link to it often (and there’s lots on my YouTube playlist here.)
That said, I recognize that it can be tricky knowing where to start, and how to proceed… so… I have decided that one way to go is make a mini-mindfulness course. It is a one-page PDF with links to the videos (created by other people) that have helped me heal – it’s super basic and looks like this when you download it:

The way that it works, is that you download the file, open it on your preferred device, and then use it like a traditional flow chart:
- Choose WHAT mindfulness topic interests you (better breathing, meditation, the vagus nerve or moving mindfully),
- Select WHY you’re curious (do you want to relax, heal or learn more?)
- Click the number-button for how many minutes you have to spare,
- The file will send you to YouTube and a video that many minutes long.
For example, let’s say you have ten minutes, and you want to use meditation to heal your pain, or learn more about the vagus nerve, or move mindfully to relax, then your three options would look like this:

If you were to do EVERY link on the page, there’s 6 hours of content for you to use… I’ve watched all the videos over the last year and some videos several times! It seems like a long time, but pace yourself, do one video a day – and there’s enough to keep you going and growing for a whole month.
Because there’s 36 different videos from different providers, if you don’t like one video in the section, don’t cancel that whole ‘line’ in the flowchart, just move to a different number-button which will take you to a new presenter. My advice is to see which videos work best for you, then keep returning to that channel…
You can download the course from this blog post here:

Or, it will be available with all the other free downloads on the RESOURCES page by the end of the week.
Oh, and because it was my 10 month blogging-anniversary yesterday, here’s a shoutout to ten new blogs that are worth checking out (plus two at the last minute, because I can’t pick favorites!):
